Financial AccountantCentral Southampton 3 days a week and 2 WFH£55 - 60k +bonusWe are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning financial services business for a newly created role within the External Reporting team.The RoleWe re seeking a newly qualified accountant with strong technical skills and an eye for detail. You ll play a key role in statutory, regulatory, and lender reporting, reporting to the External Reporting Manager and working closely with colleagues, auditors, and external partners.What you ll be doing: Preparing financial statements under FRS102 and IASSupporting technical accounting projects and advising on treatment optionsAssisting with year-end processes and audit deliverablesPreparing FCA returns for group entitiesDelivering weekly, monthly, and quarterly facility reporting for financial backersContributing to external audit work streams About You Qualified accountant with strong academics who is looking to make a move from a top tier professional practice as an Auditor or from a financial services business as a Financial / Reporting Accountant.Knowledge of FRS102 and IAS reporting requirementsWorking knowledge of IAS39 and IFRS9 preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to think strategicallyConfident communicator with auditors, advisers, and colleaguesNetSuite experience preferred Benefits include: Discretionary annual bonus25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 28 with service)Life cover (4x salary)Dental scheme reimbursementCycle to Work
