Calling all creative, hands on educators! This thriving secondary school in Chatham is looking for a passionate DT andnbsp;Teacher to inspire students across KS3-KS4, helping them design, build, and innovate in a subject that blends creativity with practical skills.

Contract: Full time, long term

Salary: andpound;162 - andpound;223 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons that encourage creativity and problem-solving.
• Guide students in designing, building, and refining projects using a variety of materials and techniques.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel inspired to experiment and innovate.
• Support students in developing technical skills, from sketching to construction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and create exciting learning experiences.

Qualifications andamp; Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Design andamp; Technology.
• Experience teaching KS3-KS4 students.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in both practical and theoretical lessons.
• Enthusiasm for extracurricular creative projects and school-wide events.
