This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a specialist SEMH and SEND setting, supporting learners with a range of communication needs, including Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Autism and other neurodivergent profiles. About the RoleWorking closely with teaching staff, families and therapeutic colleagues, you will play a key role in promoting a communication-supportive environment across the whole school. You will assess, diagnose and support learners'' communication needs through a combination of direct intervention, consultation and collaborative working. You will adopt a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed approach, recognising the important relationship between communication, emotional regulation and behaviour.
