Active Personnel are working with a reputable manufacturer who are looking for a Production Shift Manager to join their site based in the DE4 area. As a Production Shift Manager you will effectively manage the production shift to ensure the management of the production plan is executed to the highest standards always including a safe and secure working environment. Responsibilities: Optimising the plant performance and ensuring efficiencies are delivered and improved where possible. Deal with out of hours delivery queries. Ensure that all Health, safety and environmental rules and systems are adhered to. Carry out risk assessments and the identification of hazards to help develop safe operating procedures, this includes training staff in those procedures. Carry out analysis, identify root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions. Liaise with the Engineering department to ensure that all engineering tasks and PPM requests are actioned. Communicate daily with the Production Manager in relation to any changes to any changes and identifying any problems and solutions. Report production onto system. Answer any out of hours telephone calls regarding any issues as part of. an on-call rota system. Be able to lead investigation and disciplinary meetings. All paperwork is completed correctly.
