Job Title: Architectural Technologist Location: Leeds Salary: 30,000 - 35,000The opportunity A growing Leeds practice has secured a run of new commissions and wants an Architectural Technologist to strengthen its design team. You''ll help bring projects forward across residential, education, and industrial and logistics, working largely independently while liaising with colleagues, consultants, contractors and clients.What you''ll doPrepare and coordinate technical drawings, schedules and specifications through the RIBA work stagesSupport the technical side of project delivery across a mix of sectorsCheck and coordinate technical information supplied by consultants and contractorsBuild and develop BIM models from early concept right through to completion on siteWork alongside the architects on planning and building regulations submissions, from preparation through to tracking progressSupport projects during construction by answering site queries and RFIsWhat you''ll bringA degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology or a related field, ideally an Honours Degree, or an HND, HNC or apprenticeship backed by suitable practice experienceChartered status (MCIAT)At least 3 years in a UK architectural practice, including the technical design and construction stagesA sound grasp of current Building Regulations and British StandardsHands-on experience of planning and building control processesProficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suiteA ..... full job details .....
