A manufacturing and distribution business with an annual turnover of approximately 40m is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support the CFO and take full operational ownership of the finance function. This is a pivotal role within the organisation. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day financial activity while delivering high-quality analysis and insight to support informed decision-making at Board level. Key Responsibilities Full responsibility for the finance function, including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and statutory reportingPreparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts with clear commentary and variance analysisCashflow management, working capital control and treasury oversightDevelopment, implementation and maintenance of robust financial controls and processesFinancial analysis and modelling to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions and operational performancePreparation of board packs and presentation of financial performance to the CFO and BoardLiaison with external auditors, tax advisers and other professional stakeholdersLeadership, mentoring and development of the finance teamCandidate Profile Qualified or qualified by experience accountantExperience in a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally within manufacturing and/or distributionThe role could suit a candidate moving from an industry background, or someone making a strong first move from practice into industryStrong com
