The Role As a Senior Data Architect, you will define and maintain the data architecture that supports modern digital services. You will work across delivery teams to make sure data is designed, structured, stored and consumed in a consistent and effective way. You will work closely with Technical Architects, Software Developers and Analysts so that systems follow agreed data architecture principles. The role balances strategic oversight with hands-on guidance, helping teams build scalable, secure and maintainable data solutions. You will also support data governance, including metadata management and data dictionaries, in line with organisational data strategy and standards. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain enterprise and solution-level data architectures. Define and govern data models, schemas and metadata structures. Provide oversight and guidance to teams producing data artefacts. Support the creation and management of data dictionaries.
