Senior CAD Designer

Location: Hertford

Penguin Recruitment is proud to be representing a market-leading acoustic engineering firm. They are seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join their talented Design team. This is a hands-on position offering the opportunity to lead design projects, mentor junior team members, and drive product innovation.

• Conduct dimensional site surveys in the UK & across Europe.

• Produce GA drawings, detailed manufacturing, and installation drawings.

• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

• Mentor and support the development of junior design staff.

• Lead the development of acoustic products using 2D AutoCAD.

• Ensure all designs are compliant with regulations and optimised for manufacturability.

• Experience in manufacturing sheet metal or structural steel products.

• Strong proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (Autodesk Inventor/Revit knowledge advantageous).

• Understanding of installation practices.

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.

• Willingness to travel within the UK & Europe (full UK driving licence required).

• Competitive salary: -50,000 - -60,000 (depending on experience).
