Spectrum is a not-for-profit CIC committed to reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes for the most disadvantaged within our community. We are a values-based organisation with the patient at the heart of what we do. We aim to achieve quantifiable impact and are looking for GPs who are committed to our cause to join us. We are looking for a salaried GP to join our MDT consisting of a variety of allied healthcare professionals (mental health workers, pharmacists, ANPs etc.) to deliver a primary care clinic within HMP Forest Bank. A session consists of 8 appointments (15 minutes long) and are face to face. Presentations are as with community primary care as we are aiming to deliver ‘equivalence of care’ within our clinics. No prior prison experience is required as you will be given the training required for the role although prior experience is preferable.Are you the right fit for this role? The GP most suited to this role is someone passionate about reducing health inequalities, empathetic, and enjoys working within an MDT. You will need leadership qualities and be ready to explore a different, lesser known but more paced form of primary care.GPs are required to provide reception cover from 5pm-9pm Monday to Friday (to be discussed).
