Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing Planned Works
Wimbledon (1–2 days per week in the office)
Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance + Package

Our client is a privately-owned property services contractor specialising in social housing planned works, including kitchen & bathroom installations, void refurbishments, cyclical/planned maintenance, and external repairs. The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be working across a variety of social housing projects, ensuring they are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest standards. You’ll play a key role in commercial management, from procurement to final account, and will liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, negotiate, and manage project budgets and cost plans
Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering, and contract administration
Carry out valuations, variations, and final accounts
Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports
Liaise with clients, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the social housing sector
Strong knowledge of kitchen & bathroom programmes, void refurbishments, planned works, and external repairs
Excellent understanding of JCT contracts and cost control processes
Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
Proficient in MS Office (including Excel) and relevant estimating tools
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
