Job Description:Daytime Healthcare are assisting a national supported live-in organisation, who are looking for an Acting Assistant Service Manager to join their team in Swaffham . This service supports people who have Learning Disabilities, communication difficulties and who display behaviours of concern.Full Driving license required!Duties include:Inspiring and mentoring your team to deliver person-centred, empowering support.Using Active Support to promote independence and choice.Managing operational responsibilities including rotas, safeguarding, compliance and support planning.Building strong, positive relationships with families, advocates and local partners.Championing a culture of dignity, inclusion, quality and high expectations.Hours:39 hours per week.There is an expectation to provide management cover during night shifts, including weekends when required.You will be required to support the Service Manager in completing waking night spot checks of the service twice a year.Required Experience:Managing budgets and financial information, taking appropriate action where necessary.Working with vulnerable people, including individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or an acquired brain injury.Experience of leading a team.Desirable Experience:Working with individuals with behaviours that challenge (for PBS services).Working with people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (for PMLD services).Setting objectives and ensuring these are met.Delivering services
