Regional Sales Manager – Midlands
Midlands | £60,000–£65,000 | Permanent | Field-based

We’re recruiting for an established international engineering business looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to develop sales across the Midlands MEP contractor market.

This is a technical HVAC sales role focused on building relationships with mechanical and MEP contractors, developing project opportunities and growing existing and new accounts across the region.

What you''ll be doing

• Develop relationships with MEP and mechanical contractors across the Midlands
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts
• Identify new projects and develop opportunities from enquiry through to order
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
• Work with customers to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate HVAC solutions
• Develop new business while increasing sales across existing accounts
• Build relationships with distributors, consultants and other project stakeholders where required
• Use solution and value-based selling to demonstrate technical and commercial benefits
• Manage territory sales targets, forecasts and pipeline
• Maintain accurate CRM records and project information
• Monitor market activity, competitors and upcoming opportunities
• Work closely with internal technical, sales and customer support teams

What we''re looking for
The Regional Sales Manager will need proven technical sales experience within HVAC, building services or a closely related market.

You should also have:

• Strong relationships with MEP, mechanical or building services contractors
• Experience achieving sales targets across a defined territory
• Proven new business and account development experience
• Good technical understanding of HVAC products and systems
• Experience managing project-based sales opportunities
• Confidence preparing quotations, proposals and customer presentations
• Strong solution-based or value-based selling skills
• Good commercial awareness and pipeline management
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the Midlands

A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background would be advantageous.
