The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and pension services, whilst maintaining compliance with all statutory and contractual requirements.As the Payroll and Pensions Manager you will also play a key part in the ongoing development and optimisation of the HR/Payroll system, supporting reporting, automation and process improvements across the organisation.Key DutiesManage and process the monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy across PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and statutory payments Submit FPS and EPS returns to HMRC and complete all year end payroll duties Monitor and validate payroll input across the HR/payroll system to ensure compliance and accuracy Manage pension processes for LGPS, Teachers'' Pension Scheme and Auto Enrolment requirements Complete monthly pension reconciliations and statutory pension reporting Act as the first point of contact for payroll and pension related queries Liaise with HMRC, DWP and external pension providers regarding payroll an
