Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Working hours : Monday to Friday Days Location: Brough Salary: £40,000-£42,000 Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be working with an established process and manufacturing business to recruit a Days Maintenance Engineer .This is a permanent, Monday to Friday position for someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving mechanical problems and keeping plant and equipment performing reliably. The role has a strong mechanical focus, covering planned and reactive maintenance across a varied operational site. You will work on equipment including pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, tanks and associated process equipment, with welding and fabrication also forming part of the role. The Opportunity: As a Days Maintenance Engineer you ll play a key role in: Carrying out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance, identifying faults and completing effective repairs. Maintaining and improving pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, tanks, motors and other mechanical and process equipment. Using your welding and fabrication skills to repair, modify and support equipment, components and installations around the site. Responding to breakdowns, helping identify root causes and supporting practical improvements that increase equipment reliability. Working closely with operations and the wider engineering team to prioritise maintenance safely and minimise disruption to production.
