Infrastructure Engineer Location: Gloucestershire Salary: £30,000 £40,000 depending on experience The Opportunity An established consultancy is seeking a Civil/Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team in Cheltenham. This role offers the chance to deliver high-quality flood risk and drainage strategies, along with detailed highways and infrastructure designs, supporting a wide range of planning and development projects. What You ll Be Doing Preparing highways design drawings, including preliminary layouts, S278 and S38 schemes, in line with national standards and local authority guidance Developing drainage strategies to support planning applications, incorporating SuDS principles Producing Flood Risk Assessments for planning support Undertaking detailed post-planning drainage and highways designs to technical approval and construction Liaising with stakeholders, clients, and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery Conducting site visits as required Supporting business development activities and contributing to team culture Assisting in the mentoring and development of junior staff What You ll Need Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (BEng/MEng or equivalent) At least 1 years post-graduate experience in drainage and infrastructure engineering design A keen learner, eager to deliver high-quality engineering outputs and progr
