Location: Tyseley, BirminghamPay Rate: £12.71 per hour (Temp Contract)Reports to: Distribution Manager Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse and distribution team in Tyseley, Birmingham. This role plays a key part in ensuring stock is received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries against delivery documentation Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch Carry out regular stock checks and inventory counts using warehouse management systems and mobile devices Ensure stock is stored correctly and locations are updated within the system Scan and record stock movements accurately to maintain inventory integrity Report stock discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly to management Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe, and organised at all times Assist with stock replenishment and rotation to ensure products are readily available Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies Support loading and unloading of vehicles as required Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly (where trained and authorised) Work flexibly within a team, providing support and cover for colleagues when needed Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Contribute ..... full job details .....
