With a strong commitment to regeneration, infrastructure investment, and sustainable development, the organisation is entering a critical phase of its capital delivery portfolio and requires experienced programme leadership to drive outcomes.Your new role As Programme Manager - Capital Delivery, you will lead a complex portfolio of capital projects, ensuring the effective planning, governance, and execution of programmes aligned to strategic objectives.You will oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, managing risks, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder engagement at a senior level.Key responsibilities will include:Leading the successful delivery of a multi-million-pound capital programme across infrastructure, regeneration, or public assetsEstablishing programme governance structures and ensuring compliance with local authority and statutory regulationsManaging and coordinating project managers, consultants, and contractorsOverseeing financial performance, including budget control, forecasting, and value for moneyProviding strategic oversight, reporting progress to senior leadership and elected membersIdentifying and mitigating programme-level risks and issuesDriving continuous improvement
