Your new company You will be joining a leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor delivering a major highways project in the Midlands. The business has a strong track record across complex UK infrastructure schemes and is looking to strengthen its engineering capability with an experienced Senior Temporary Works Designer.Your new role As Senior Temporary Works Designer, you will provide safe, practical and cost-effective temporary works solutions, working closely with site delivery and permanent works design teams to ensure designs are buildable, compliant and appropriate for site constraints.You will be responsible for:Designing and checking temporary works solutionsProviding buildability assessments for permanent worksEnsuring designs comply with current CDM RegulationsEnsuring appropriate design checks and certification are completedManaging temporary works drawings and drafting requirementsMaintaining design records and technical assurance documentationLiaising closely with site delivery teams around construction methodology and site constraintsWorking with Permanent Works Designers to resolve buildability and construction issuesSupporting temporary works delivery in line with project programme and budget requirementsActing as Temporary Works Design Co-ordinator where appropriateSupporting safer-by-design principles, risk reduction and technical assuranceIdentifying opportunities for lower-carbon solutions, material reuse and improved design efficiencySupporting the ..... full job details .....
