Maintenance TechnicianWe''re seeking a proactive, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You''ll be responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance of buildings at various locations in the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general building maintenance, including repairs to electrical, plumbing, and cladding as needed.Operate suitable plant equipment safely (e.g., cherry picker and/or scissor lift) - IPAF licence mandatory.Liaise with external contractors where necessary.Follow safe systems of work in line with CDM Regulations.Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.Schedule40 hours per week - rota''d shifts between Monday and Friday, 08:00 to 17:30.Essential RequirementsStrong practical skills in electrical (fully qualified), plumbing, cladding, and general building; minor joinery skills would be useful.Experience operating cherry pickers and a valid IPAF licence (training may be provided).Full UK driving licence and ability to travel.Based in Newport or within a 45-minute drive radius.Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.Desirable QualificationsSMSTS certification.NEBOSH health and safety qualification.IOSH certification.Own set of trade tools (tools can be supplied if needed).BenefitsCompetitive salary: 35,000- 45,000 (depending on experience).Company vehicle plus fuel allowance.Employee discount for friends and family.Free on-site parking.Additional InformationAll roles require candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK.
