Carpenter Council / Social Housing PropertiesWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to carry out responsive and planned maintenance works across council and social housing properties. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality carpentry repairs and installations while providing excellent customer service to tenants. Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesCarry out a wide range of carpentry works within occupied and void council and social housing propertiesInstall, repair, and maintain:Doors, frames, locks, and ironmongerySkirting boards, architraves, kitchens, cupboards, and shelvingFlooring, fencing, and minor roofing worksUndertake reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishment worksWork to drawings, job tickets, and specificationsEnsure all work complies with health and safety regulations and council standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and tidy working environmentCommunicate effectively with tenants, supervisors, and office staffAccurately complete job sheets and reports using handheld devices or paperworkIdentify and report any additional repair needs or safeguarding concernsEssential RequirementsNVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry or equivalent qualificationProven experience working within council, local authority, or social housing environmentsStrong knowledge of repairs and maintenance in domestic propertiesAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyFull UK driving licence (essential)Good customer service and communication skillsKnowl
