We are working with a supportive and well-established Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Rotherham, catering for pupils from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. The school supports children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, behavioural challenges, Autism, ADHD, and additional learning needs.The PRU has a strong reputation locally for positively re-engaging pupils with education, and we are now seeking full-time Behaviour Support Workers to join their dedicated team. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in sports coaching, residential care, youth work, mentoring, or similar environments.Your RoleAs a Behaviour Support Worker, you will:Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils across KS1-KS4Help pupils regulate emotions and manage behaviour positivelySupport engagement in lessons and alternative learning activitiesWork closely with teachers and other support staff to reduce disruption and promote progressUse de-escalation strategies and consistent behaviour approachesProvide feedback to teaching staff and contribute to behaviour plansYou will be supporting pupils with:SEMH needsAutismADHDChallenging behaviourAdditional learning needsThe Ideal CandidateWe are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience in:Sports coaching or physical activity rolesResidential care or supported livingYouth work, mentoring, or behaviour supportEducation, PRUs, alternative provisions, or SEN settingsYou will also be:Confident, calm,
