We identify businesses that fit our clients'' acquisition criteria and engage directly with their owners to introduce potential acquisition interest and create conversations that can ultimately lead to a transaction. The Role We are looking for a Business Development Associate to join our growing team. The primary focus of the role is straightforward: speaking directly with business owners and securing meetings for our Senior Directors. You will make outbound calls to owners of businesses that have been specifically identified as potential acquisition targets. You will explain that we are acting for a client that has asked us to approach them regarding their potential interest in acquiring their business. This is not a traditional new business sales role. You will not be expected to win new clients for us. We describe the position as Business Development because the skills required are very similar: confidence on the phone, resilience, strong communication skills and the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
