The RoleProfiles Creative are partnering with a leading events agency to find an experienced

Technical Production Manager

to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on delivering the technical and production aspects of large-scale, high-impact live events across the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Translate client briefs into innovative technical AV and production solutions that balance creativity, budget, and feasibility

Lead on project timelines, budgets, schedules and costings, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial control

Manage supplier relationships globally, from sourcing and briefing to negotiation and delivery

Create and oversee CAD drawings and site plans to guarantee safe, practical, and impactful event layouts

Take responsibility for on-site technical management, both in the UK and overseas, ensuring flawless execution

Prepare and monitor RAMS, CDM documentation, and all relevant health and safety compliance

Provide hands-on leadership in crew management, supplier coordination, and troubleshooting on-site

Keep up to date with new technologies and share learnings with the wider team and clients

Support pitches and proposals by providing creative technical ideas and accurate costings

Actively contribute to internal reviews and debriefs to drive continual improvement

About YouWe’re looking for a confident, proactive production specialist with deep technical knowledge and a proven track record in the live events industry. You’ll be equally comfortable negotiating with suppliers as you are drafting CAD drawings, managing budgets, and leading on-site delivery.

Solid experience in a technical production role within an agency or live events environment

Strong knowledge of sound, lighting, video, set construction, rigging and AV solutions

Skilled in CAD (with the ability to draft plans an advantage)

Well-versed in health and safety best practice and comfortable preparing RAMS/CDM documentation

Experienced in managing complex, multi-currency budgets with commercial awareness

Excellent communicator with strong project management and organisational skills

Collaborative, approachable, and resilient under pressure

Willing to travel both within the UK and internationally for site visits and event delivery

Proficiency in tools such as Procim, Salesforce and Google Docs is highly desirable
