OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED HAZARDOUS WASTE SITE CHEMIST OR A CHEMISTRY GRADUATE TO DEVELOP A CAREER WITH A LEADING WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPANY TITLE: Site Chemist / Chemistry Graduate - Hazardous Waste SALARY: Graduate - 27,000 up to 37,000 with hazardous waste SECTOR experience LOCATION: Walsall ROLE: Site Chemist / Chemistry Graduate - Hazardous Waste THIS IS A PREDOMINANTLY SITE-BASED POSITION, WELL-SUITED TO A PRACTICAL, HANDS-ON INDIVIDUAL WHO PREFERS WORKING OUTDOORS, WITH AROUND 75% OF TASKS CARRIED OUT ON-SITE AND MINIMAL TIME SPENT IN THE LABORATORY. FLT Operation (training given) You will operate within a hazardous waste processing yard, where your primary responsibilities will involve unloading and conducting tests on incoming waste materials, including pH, flammability, and chemical compatibility assessments prior to bulking. You will ensure accurate labelling of all items and complete all necessary documentation to maintain compliance and traceability.
