An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Components Stores Operative to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Logistics Department.We are looking to recruit a Components Stores Operative who will work as part of a team to process inbound deliveries and outbound works orders, to ensure that required components and materials are stored correctly and provided to the production department in a timely and accurate manner.The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of the warehouse process including unloading, receiving, putting away and picking, and will be expected to use a variety of FLT and also the warehouse management system and hand held scanning devices.They will be flexible and able to perform multiple different tasks during a working day, and be able to utilise a variety of tools and skills to complete tasks and investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies.Essential Experience/Qualifications Experience of warehousing and/or logistics functions and processesValid FLT licenses (one or more of CB, RT and pivot/bendy) Desirable Experience/Qualifications Experience using warehouse management system and hand held scanners Key Skills Good communication with team members and other departmentsAble to work to deadlines and prioritise workloadFlexible and able to move between different tasks and jobs during the day/weekCommitted, enthusiastic and willing to learnExcellent attention to detailAble to work in a safe ..... full job details .....
