Location: Lutterworth, Leicestershire (Carl Zeiss IQS Ltd)

Department: Industrial Quality Solutions - Aftermarket

Reports to: Aftermarket Sales Lead

Are you a target-driven sales professional with a knack for building lasting customer relationships and a passion for cutting-edge metrology solutions£ Join our expanding Aftermarket Sales team within the Metrology andamp; Inspection division and help us deliver world-class software, support agreements, training, accessories and retrofit solutions to our loyal customer base.

🔑 What You''ll Do

  • Territory Management
  • Own the end-to-end renewal process for software agreements, support contracts, training and accessories.
  • Proactively engage customers to ensure high satisfaction, retention and contract coverage.
  • New Business Generation
  • Self-source and qualify leads via cold calling, networking and referrals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive new opportunities across your territory.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build deep, consultative relationships to understand customers'' needs.
  • Leverage the full ZEISS portfolio to deliver tailored aftermarket offerings.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Partner with colleagues across Sales, Technical Support and Applications to close deals and drive growth.
  • Negotiation andamp; Closing
  • Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Overcome objections and consistently achieve closing targets.
  • Performance Tracking andamp; Reporting
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and use data to refine your approach.
  • Product Mastery
  • Stay current on software releases, support offerings and accessory upgrades.
  • Educate customers on new features and long-term value.

  • Contract Coverage: Maintain a high percentage of customers under active contract.

👤 About You

  • Proven Sales Track Record: Experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development ideally within Aftersales.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrable success hitting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at all levels.
  • Self-Starter: Able to work independently, organise your territory and drive results.
  • Process-Driven: Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communicator andamp; Negotiator: Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication; confident in closing deals.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in an Aftersales environment
  • Familiarity with metrology or inspection software and services
