Our client is an established business looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for the smooth running of its transport and warehouse departments. This is a varied role involving transport coordination, warehouse management, stock control, health and safety and staff development.Benefits: 20 days holiday + Bank holidays Company van provided 37-hour working week Monday to Friday working pattern Duties of a Warehouse Manager: Organising and maintaining drivers'' rotas, delivery schedules and daily transport operations. Monitoring drivers'' daily worksheets, tachograph records and working hours, ensuring compliance with EU and GB drivers'' hours regulations. Arranging vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs, ensuring all vehicles remain roadworthy and defects are addressed promptly. Overseeing vehicle loading and unloading, identifying any weight or capacity issues and arranging alternative delivery solutions where necessary.
