Job Advert: Estate and Block Surveyor Location: South London / Greater London Region Contract Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP We are expanding our contract talent pool and seeking skilled Estate and Block Surveyors to support external and communal asset surveys across estates, blocks and shared outdoor areas. The Role As an Estate and Block Surveyor, you will be responsible for surveying estates, sub-estates, major blocks and communal external areas. You will capture structured asset data to support large-scale housing improvement and compliance programmes. Key Responsibilities Survey external building elements, boundaries, roofs and communal areas Use GIS mapping tools and site plans to ensure full and accurate coverage Capture photographic evidence and contextual information for each location Identify risks or potential HHSRS indicators and escalate where required Upload completed surveys on a weekly basis Work professionally across varied estate environments and engage appropriately with residents Candidate Requirements Experience in estate/block surveying or external building inspections Good understanding of building pathology, external structures and communal assets Relevant surveying qualification (preferred but not essential) Valid DBS check Full UK driving licence Why Join Us?
