About the Role: Teach Design Engineering to pupils from Year 9 through Sixth Form, including OCR Design Technology GCSE and OCR Design Engineering A-Level. Opportunity to contribute to developing our curriculum, with plans to introduce OCR Product Design A-Level and Design Technology IB. Work alongside a dedicated team of four specialist teachers and a technician/TA in a custom-built facility boasting workshops, robotics suites, 3D printers, laser and plasma cutters, and more. Lead and engage pupils in exciting projects, competitions (Vex Robotics, CANSAT, Greenpower), clubs (Makerspace, Robotics), and educational visits. Play an active role in the pastoral care system as a house tutor and contribute to the wider life of the school through co-curricular activities. What We''re Looking For: A good honours degree in Technology, Design, Engineering, or a related subject. Ability to engage and inspire academically-minded pupils with enthusiasm for technological innovation and practical design. Experience or interest in engineering, electronics, and computer science
