Preparing for Adulthood Mentor - Wokingham (11 Hours per Week)Quantum Scholars are currently recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Preparing for Adulthood Mentor to support three young boys in Wokingham who are accessing Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) from September.This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with young people with additional needs, helping them develop the confidence, independence, social skills and practical life skills they will need as they progress towards adulthood.The role will involve supporting the young people both within their local community and in everyday environments, helping them become more confident navigating the world around them. This could include activities such as using public transport, visiting caf s and shops, accessing community facilities and developing the skills needed to manage everyday situations more independently.As a Preparing for Adulthood Mentor, you will provide personalised, engaging and meaningful support based around each young person''s individual needs, interests and abilities.
