Medical Negligence Solicitor - Grade C - Sheffield (5600)Irwin Mitchell is seeking a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its Medical Negligence team in Sheffield, led by Partner Anna Stacey. The team focuses on medical negligence cases across South Yorkshire and the East Midlands, handling complex and life-changing claims with a patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Manage your own caseload while assisting senior team members on high-value, complex cases.

Conduct case analysis from start to finish, identify key issues, and deliver practical, empathetic solutions for clients.

Where appropriate, seek interim payments to support rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation before final settlement.

Qualifications

Newly Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive

Ability to take instructions from clients and provide sound legal advice

Demonstrable technical experience in medical negligence law

Experience assisting seniors on complex, high-value cases

Strong case management skills with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for clients
