Job title: Student Safety Team Member

Shifts: 37.5hrs per week (5 days out of 7)
Shift time: 10pm – 7am
Hourly Rate: £16.66ph 

Student safety team member required for Student accommodaion sites in Durham.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a positive brand ambassador. 
• Create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for students. 
• Maintain consistent, high-quality service throughout the night. 
• Keep students and the building safe, responding to emergencies and vulnerable situations. 
• Handle overnight incidents, including noise complaints, lock-outs, fire alarms, flooding, and system failures. 
• Work with security to protect residents and the property. 
• Keep shared areas clean and tidy. 
• Support other properties during major incidents when required. 
• Build relationships with students and signpost them to appropriate support. 
• Respond to individual student needs and escalate welfare concerns when necessary. 
• Act on student feedback and resolve or escalate issues promptly. 
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards. 
• Complete required safety checks and respond appropriately to emergencies. 
• Maintain a clean, well-maintained environment.
