This firm has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a loyal and diverse client base. They are looking for a Qualified Practice Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice accountant who enjoys working closely with clients, managing a varied portfolio, and contributing to the success of a thriving independent firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries, acting as their main point of contactPrepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companiesComplete and file corporation tax returns and personal tax computationsEnsure compliance with all HMRC and Companies House filing requirementsProvide business advisory services and support clients with their financial queriesUse Xero daily - including bookkeeping reviews, bank reconciliations, and reportingSupervise and support junior team members where requiredLiaise with HMRC, banks, and other third parties on behalf of clientsRequirements

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in a UK accountancy practiceStrong working knowledge of Xero - essentialConfident managing a portfolio of clients independentlyExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsProactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlinesA team player with a positive and professional attitudeBenefits
