We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Control Engineer to join our Control System Team. The successful candidate will design control and automation systems in the Offshore Energy sector; ensuring solutions clients'' needs are met in a professional and timely manner. You will be responsible for: Writing specifications, developing PLC code and HMI/SCADA solutions for a variety equipment. Providing technical support during the construction phase of projects; including involvement in the commissioning and testing of equipment. Efficient management and prioritisation of workload. Taking ownership of the tasks assigned through to successful delivery within the specified time and budget. Delivering a high standard of work in line with our software quality control procedures. Job requirements: Excellent technical knowledge of Control, Automation and Safety Systems Appropriate Computer/Engineering related qualification (degree/HND) or comparable industrial experience Relevant experience in: Design of control and automation systems Programming of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems Commissioning and Testing of industrial control systems Involvement throughout the whole project lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation and documentation Working for clients in the marine, subsea, oil and gas and renewables market.
