Learning Support Assistant Location: Lambeth Hours per Week: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 16:30 (Note: Lunch breaks are unpaid and should not be claimed on weekly timesheets.)Contract End Date: 12/06/2026Hourly Rate: £15.55 (PAYE)- £19p/h (umbrella) We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at the Lambeth Campus. This role requires a candidate who can provide exceptional support and care, managing challenging behaviours and assisting with personal care needs. Day-to-day of the role: Provide one-to-one support to students, assisting them with their educational and personal development.Manage challenging behaviours in a calm and effective manner.Assist with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring the dignity and safety of students.Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to implement learning plans and activities.Monitor and report on the progress of students, providing feedback to educational staff and parents as required. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience in managing challenging behaviour and providing personal care.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with additional needs.
