Do you hold an NVQ Level 2 or above in an engineering discipline and want to develop your career in maintenance, with extensive training and progression to become a fully-fledged Maintenance Engineer?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business in a junior role, building your technical skills through hands-on training while supporting maintenance and repairs on a variety of machinery.

This growing company has multiple sites around the UK and offers extensive training at its main site in Bury, with the opportunity to develop your knowledge of a wide variety of machinery and systems and take on greater responsibility as your skills grow.

In this days-based role, you will work alongside experienced members of the maintenance team, learning to fault-find and assisting with pre-planned maintenance, servicing and repairs on electrical and mechanical machinery, with support and supervision appropriate to your experience.

The role would suit someone with an NVQ Level 2 or above in an engineering discipline who is keen to learn and progress into a fully-fledged Maintenance Engineer role. You will benefit from a Monday-Friday days-based position, plenty of training and opportunities to increase your earnings through overtime.

The Role:

• Assisting with fault finding, servicing and maintenance of machinery alongside experienced engineers
• Days-based role - Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
• -33,000 - -35,000
• Extensive training and progression to become a fully-fledged Maintenance Engineer + Overtime

The Person:

• NVQ Level 2 minimum in an engineering discipline
• Previous experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Keen to develop hands-on maintenance skills through training and progress into a fully-fledged Maintenance Engineer role
• Commutable to Bury
