You may be supporting clients through their end-of-life journeyMedication SupportHelping our clients with their medication as required and keeping accurate recordsMeal SupportPreparing and serving meals including supporting with feeding where required. Keep track and documenting our client’s fluid and food intake.Household supportHelping our clients maintain a tidy and well-kept home by undertaking light housework. Helping clients care for their pets. Shopping for and with our clients as required.CompanionshipKeeping our clients company and helping them stay physically active and engaged in hobbies, community activities and visiting friends and family.As a Care Assistant with Vitale Care, it’s important that you can:Have availability from 7am in the morning and can work every other weekend.Comply with our policies and proceduresComplete comprehensive and accurate records (eMAR or Visit Logs)Agree and work within your agreed availabilityReport any significant changes to health or circumstance or any risks, welfare or safeguarding concerns with clientsAttend mandatory training, one-to-one supervisions and meetings where requiredUnderstand the role of the CQC and the guidance it sets outPromote good practices and report poor practices or concernsEssential qualifications and experience:An understanding of and/or experience in careFull UK Driving License with Class 1 Business Use InsuranceAccess to a car that you can use for workConfident use of online care management systemThe right to work in the UKOther skills and attributes:You’ll be highly organised and reliableYou’ll be willing to learn new skills and to adaptYou’ll have a positive, can-do attitudeYou are a great communicator, listening, speaking and writingYou’ll be a team playerYou are passionate about delivering the highest standard of care
