Our client is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager who will be responsible for leading, developing and embedding the health, safety and environmental agenda to ensure a safe and secure environment which operates in line with relevant legislation. The post holder will act as lead manager and responsible person for Health and Safety across the organisation (over two sites), providing expertise and guidance on all health and safety matters. They will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability, environmental and energy strategies. To promote a positive HandS culture across the organisation, providing advice, guidance and enforcement on HandS matters, including ensuring safe systems of work are in place to minimise risk to all on site To source, interpret and apply new legislation, approved codes of practice and other forms of Health and Safety guidance, including how they will impact services and how to implement organizationally To provide expert advice, guidance and support to managers and team leaders in the completion of risk assessments.
