Loading Supervisor

Location: Corby,
Salary: £14.50 - £15.50 per hour
Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Contract Type: 18-week temporary to permanent

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and organised Loading Supervisor to join our team in Corby. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient organisation of vehicles, meticulously checking loads, and promptly advising the factory of any shortfalls. Experience in handling goods is essential, and a Counterbalance licence is preferred, with a Side Loader licence being desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organising and coordinating vehicle movements for loading and unloading.
• Thoroughly checking all outgoing and incoming loads to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Advising the factory immediately of any discrepancies or shortfalls in goods.
• Ensuring all loading and unloading procedures are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate records of loads and dispatches.
• Overseeing the loading team and ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Proven experience in a goods handling or loading environment.
• Ability to organise vehicles and manage loading operations effectively.
• Strong attention to detail for checking loads and identifying shortfalls.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with the factory and team members.
• Counterbalance licence (preferred).
• Side Loader licence (desirable).
• Ability to work consistently from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Reliable and a proactive approach to work.
