The successful candidate will have experience with design of rotating machinery or parts Job Overview Working with SolidWorks to implement electrical and mechanical design specifications into detailed manufacturing drawings for production. This could be for complete machines or individual components. Liaising with production to see projects through the manufacture process and onward to customer delivery. Producing 3D models to be used for analysis in Ansys. Responsibilities and Duties Production of accurate manufacturing drawings. Production of full assembly drawings and parts lists from manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks PDM Modifications and revision of design drawings. Ability to understand engineering materials, properties and manufacturing processes of these materials. Aid production with troubleshooting and design improvements. Qualifications/Experience The successful candidate Minimum of HND or equivalent in mechanical engineering or related subjects. Experience in drawing office methods and practices combined with good factory floor knowledge of machining and assembly processes. Good all round knowledge of 2D/3D CAD sys
