Sales Team Leader
Leicester, LE3 – 100% office based
£28,000 - £30,000 per annum + performance-based bonuses
Full time, permanent | Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking independent technology business, is looking to appoint a Sales Team Leader to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional with at least 2 years’ experience, who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. You’ll be working closely with the Directors, receiving ongoing mentorship, while leading and inspiring a small sales team to deliver exceptional results.

This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on sales activity and people leadership – you’ll lead from the front, drive performance, and contribute directly to business growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, support and motivate a small team of sales executives to achieve and exceed targets

• Drive performance through clear goal-setting, coaching, and regular performance reviews

• Build and manage your own sales pipeline, leading by example

• Identify training needs and deliver ongoing development to team members

• Monitor and analyse sales metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement

• Work with Directors to deliver strategic sales initiatives

• Maintain strong client relationships and actively seek new business opportunities

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience – essential

• Strong understanding of the sales process with the ability to coach others

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

• Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills

• Ambitious and driven with a desire to grow into a leadership career

• Previous experience mentoring or supporting colleagues is advantageous
