Job title: Account Manager/ Commercial BrokerLocation:GlasgowPURPOSE OF ROLELawes Consulting Group is supporting a well-regarded brokerage in their search for an account Manager who will deliver comprehensive, day-to-day account management to mid-to-large UK corporate clients within the Property and Casualty – Retail sector. The primary objective of the role is to retain and grow client relationships through consistent delivery of outstanding service.RESPONSIBILITIESHandle the day-to-day administration of client insurance programmes, supporting Account Executives and New Business teams in servicing, client retention, and growthArrange insurance cover for clients in line with company guidelines and strategic objectivesTake ownership of renewal processes and policy amendments, ensuring timely and accurate completionSource quotations for both new and renewal businessProduce precise and compliant documentation for both clients and insurersValidate policy documents for accuracy before issuing them to clientsAddress and resolve client enquiries and mid-term changes to cover and riskEnsure swift and accurate handling of accounting queriesIdentify client exposures and recommend appropriate insurance and risk management strategies alongside the Account Executive or PartnerProvide necessary management reports and data as requiredOversee and coordinate international insurance programmes and liaise with global networks where relevantDAY-TO-DAYManaging and servicing client insurance arrangementsArranging appropriate insurance coverOverseeing renewals and policy updatesPreparing client and insurer documentationAddressing client queries and managing risk changesSupplying management reporting and insightsCoordinating international insurance solutionsEXPERIENCEProven track record in broking and managing risks for UK corporate clientsStrong interpersonal and communication abilitiesCommercial insight with the capability to interpret client business needsCompetence in creating broking proposals and claims assessmentsCommitment to service excellence and continuous improvementEffective time management and prioritisation skillsSKILLSExceptional communicator with strong relationship-building capabilitiesCommercially minded with a practical approach to problem-solvingSkilled in compiling broking documents and conducting claims evaluationsProactive and committed to enhancing service standardsWell-organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyIf you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact me now on
