Fortress Recruit is now looking for an experienced Contract Quality Engineer for an immediate 2-month contract inside IR35. This is a hands-on role supporting a busy quality team, ideal for someone with aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing experience who can quickly integrate into the business and make an immediate impact. Key responsibilities: Manage customer complaints, investigations and 8D/root cause analysis Produce FAIRs in accordance with AS9102 requirements Support PPAP activities and contribute to APQP projects Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives Support Quality Management System activities Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal manufacturing teams To be considered, you''ll have: Previous experience as a Quality Engineer within manufacturing Aerospace, defence or other highly regulated industry experience Experience with NetInspect (essential) Experience with FAIRs, PPAP and quality investigations Strong 8D and root cause analysis skills The ability to work independently and hit the ground running This is a full time, site based role (37 hours per week) in the West Midlands, offered as a 2-month contract Inside IR35 via Umbrella company, paying 35.00 per hour with flexible working arrangements.
