This role will initially focus on managing health and safety across a single-site project in London before developing into a strategic leadership position. Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Lead include: Planning health and safety throughout the development, assessing upcoming challenges and ensuring health and safety solutions are in placeVisiting site, assisting, advising and coaching contractors to ensure they can achieve the efficient and effective delivery of the health and safety strategyConducting incident investigation to identify root cause and making recommendations to prevent reoccurrenceConstantly assessing opportunities for improvements and sharing best practice across the organisation The successful Health, Safety and Environment Lead will have:Proven leadership experience in a similar role ideally within construction or civil engineering or a related industryExperience in influencing, engaging and coaching senior management and site level operationsA strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation, compliance, and regul
