Overview

Interim Head of FPandA (highly project orientated) – Global Hedge Fund – Competitive Base and Bonus. This range is provided by Mondrian Alpha. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. The role will initially run for 12 months and is likely to convert into a permanent contract. It is a highly commercial, value-add position focused on building a world-class FPandA and business strategy function, reporting to the CFO and partnering with non-finance stakeholders across the business. The initial focus is on supporting the strategic planning cycle: reviewing and developing budgets with departmental heads and shaping growth and resource allocation strategies. Longer term, the role supports delivering a more efficient operating model and group-wide reorganisation.

Responsibilities

Lead the creation and development of an FPandA function that supports strategic planning and business insight at a global hedge fund.Partner with departmental heads to review and develop budgets and to shape strategies around growth and resource allocation.Support the CFO and senior management in the group-wide reorganisation and operating model improvements.Lead project teams in a fast-paced environment; train colleagues on new processes and foster strong cross-functional collaboration.Influence and lead stakeholders without direct line reports, providing clear recommendations and insights.Utilise data and tools (Tableau desirable) to deliver actionable analysis and performance reporting.Qualifications

Qualified accountant with strong academic background.Experience in a fast-paced, complex organisation; financial services exposure desirable.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong influencing and leadership skills.Experience leading project teams and training colleagues in new processes; ability to drive change.Tableau exposure is desirable.Notice period: must be on a maximum of 1 month or less.Compensation and Benefits
