About the RoleCoventry City Council is seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join the Children''s Help and Protection Team within the South locality. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated social work professional to work within a supportive case-holding team, helping to safeguard children and improve outcomes for families across Coventry.Rate: 33.30 per hour (Umbrella)As a Senior Practitioner within the South Social Worker Case holding Team, you will work with children and families requiring statutory intervention, providing high-quality assessments, safeguarding support and care planning.You will play a key role in supporting complex casework, promoting best practice and ensuring that children receive timely and effective services that meet their individual needs.Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of approximately 20 children and familiesUndertaking assessments and developing effective plansWorking with children in need of support and protectionManaging child protection and safeguarding interventionsBuilding positive relationships with children, families and partner agenciesContributing to high-quality decision-making and risk assessmentMaintaining accurate and timely case recordingSupporting the delivery of excellent social work practice within the teamRequirementsSocial Work qualificationCurrent Social Work England registration3+ years post-qualified experience within Children''s ServicesStrong experience of safeguarding and child ..... full job details .....
