Chief Infrastructure and Redevelopment OfficerWe are seeking an inspirational, visible leader able to play a critical role in enabling the delivery of excellent healthcare services by taking responsibility for the executive leadership and strategic direction of the Space and Place Directorate, responsible for the effective maintenance of the Trust estate and the provision of all on-site facilities and services required to provide world class paediatric care. This is a critical leadership position overseeing a broad portfolio and is responsible for leading the Trust estate capital deployment, major capital projects, development and implementation of a site masterplan, aligned to the Trust''s strategic intent and objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards. The role ensures the delivery of a safe, sustainable, and future-ready built environment that supports world-class patient care, research, and education. You will provide leadership and strategic input for the management of the Trust''s estates, facilities and capital investment programme and will lead on the development of the Trust''s transformation plan of its overall estates footprint and advance solutions which enable the cost-effective delivery of health services.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of the strategic direction of the Trust and wider local health economy as a member of the Trust Board, determining and upholding the Trust''s values and standards.As a member of the Trust Executive Senior Leadership Team, support decision-making and planning for all aspects of the Trust''s businessParticipate in the Executive on-call rota, ensuring effective representation of the Trust and decision making in critical on-call scenarios.Positively contribute to the development of corporate policy and decision-making activity, and the successful team working of the Board of Directors and Executive Management Team.Provide highly visible, executive leadership for the estates, facilities, redevelopment, and capital investment portfolio.Be the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) for several Trust workstreams aligned with the Trust Strategy, including Sustainability and the build of the Children\''s Cancer Centre.
