Stores Operatives required to work for a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation based in High Wycombe. We are looking for an effective and well organised individual to work within the stores team to be responsible for handling material supplies. You will be involved in all receiving and storing of materials on site.

The role will work closely with the production team to ensure the smooth running of materials stores, to ensure the Manufacturing Team, external customers etc are well supported with all the materials needs. Key to this role will also be kitting of components for production and being able to identify electronic components.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and background of working within and engineering/ manufacturing stores environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage materials.
• Log and locate all materials effectively.
• Ensure all materials are in correct location.
• Maintain stores environment to company standards.
• Kits parts to production lines and for Customer orders.
• Shuttling parts from the warehouse to various locations on site.

Skills

• Experience in stock control, ideally gained in an electronic manufacturing or equivalent environment.
• Knowledge of electronic component labelling/recognition.
• Experience in a electronics production environment, specifically in materials handling or controller role
• Familiar with ERP systems operation
• Good attention to detail
