Location: Newbridge or other UK offices (Kentish Town, Stone Cross, Cannock, Leeds, Golborne) - potential hybrid working
Salary: Up to -70,000+ benefits (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our dynamic team, working on structural steel projects for an international Tier 1 main contractor. While an engineering background is advantageous, the most important qualities are strong project management skills, excellent organisation, and the ability to drive design projects from inception to completion.

As Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full design stage of projects, solving issues as they arise, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process for structural steel projects from initial concept through to completion.

• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.

• Solve complex design and engineering challenges as they arise.

• Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, clients, and contractors.

• Ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards throughout all project stages.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong project management and organisational abilities.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Good understanding of engineering principles.

• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex design projects, preferably in structural steel.

• Ability to drive projects forward independently while collaborating effectively with others.
