Senior Quantity Surveyor Glasgow First People Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and highly respected contractor based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work across major infrastructure and civil engineering projects throughout Scotland, with a particular focus on Scottish Water frameworks. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with operational teams and senior management to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities:Managing the commercial performance of multiple projectsPreparing valuations, applications for payment, and final accountsManaging subcontractor procurement, payments, and accountsProducing accurate cost reports and forecastsIdentifying and managing commercial risks and opportunitiesSupporting operational teams throughout project deliveryMaintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships Requirements:Minimum 5 years'' experience within a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within civil engineering or infrastructure projectsDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related disciplinePrevious experience working on Scottish Water frameworks is beneficialExperience operating at Senior QS level or ready to step into a senior roleStrong contractual and commercial ..... full job details .....
